Bessie Lee Jackson, 87, of England, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 21, 2017. She was born on March 8, 1930 to Captain McKinley and Effie Browning in Rosebud, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith.

She retired after several years of employment with England School District's Cafeteria Service. She worked tirelessly to keep her large family together, sustaining them with garden produce and years of hard work. Gardening continued to be her passion throughout  her entire life.

Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Junior Jackson and grandson Corey McKinley Jackson; also siblings; Ruby Loftis, Leona Madsen; Opal McGowen; Jessie Myers; Le Roy Browning; Nora Marie Shelton; James Thomas Browning and Cora Lou Jones.

Survivors include six sons: Charles Junior Jackson (Anita) of Barling, Arkansas; Tommy Wayne Jackson of Conway, Arkansas; James Roy Jackson of England; Gary Dean Jackson (Brenda) of Furlow; Jerry McKinley Jackson (Shawn) of Keo; and Ronnie Lynn Jackson (Sandra) of England; one daughter Carolyn Ann Bolin of England; one sister Mary Emma Sexton of Ward, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation service is scheduled for Wednesday,May 24, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday,May 25, 2017 both at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home Chapel of England (501-842-3901). Bro. Frank Thurman will officiate over the service. Burial will be at Union Valley Cemetery near Coy, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Jones, Justin Hallum, Chris Hallum, Danny Skaggs, Bryan Holladay and Deon Holladay.

" Thank you " Mom, for all the sacrifices that you made to care for and keep us all together as a family unit. God only knows the trials, tribulations and hearaches you have endured throughout your lifetime. Please forgive us for taking so many things for granted. Eternal rest and love to you.
