Unfortunately life is not permanent. Those who go before us, especially the young that have so much life ahead of them make it especially hard for those of us who have to wait on earth until our turn with the hope that we will reunite with our loved ones that we have endured so much grieving that becomes a part of us that we must absorb. It becomes a part of us that changes us. We learn to live with it, carry on, and wait.

Watching you lay there in the hospital knowing you would not return to us crushed my heart. To think we will never hear your laughter or see your Taylor blue eyes again deeply hurts us. But we find comfort knowing you are in the arms of our Lord. Rest in peace cousin, you are loved.
