Brother Manuel Banks died on January 14, 2017. He was born July 22, 1953 in Crawvill, Arkansas to the late Williams Banks and Bertha Curry. Marvel was educated in East St. Louis, Missouri High School. He received a certificate at J.C. Lowery Journalism in Video and Broadcasting in Sacramento, California. He was employed by the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a U.S. Marine, stationed at Camp LeJune in North Carolina.
Manuel was untied in Holy matrimony to Jannie Banks October 11, 1975. Manuel and Jannie confessed Christ at Progressive Church in Scott, Arkansas. Manuel was a faithful member until his iliness. He was preceded in death by his father William Banks and his mother Bertha Curry. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jannie Banks, other relatives, his aunt Mildred Banks and friends and a very special friend Larry Chambeier.
My husband, my friend,my love Manuel I thanked God for the times we shared and enjoyed our love and life each day. I feel it was far to soon for God to take you, but he saw you were getting tired. He thought it was best. He stood beside you and whispered come home. You were gone before we knew it. I will miss and always love you: Your wife, your friend and your love.
Funeral Service will be Saturday January 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Progressive Church 9896 Highway 165 West in Scott, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday January 20 from 7-8 p.m. at Wilson Robison Funeral Home in England.. Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday January 25th at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas. Wilson Robison Funeral Home of England in charge of the arrangements.
