Oma Faye Nichols of Blytheville. AR. 88 passed away on April 9, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 14, 1929 to the late A.W. and Bessie Aldridge in Quitman, AR. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of England, AR. She loved to sew, working in her flower beds, cooking, spending time with her family and was the highlight of her life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Strawn and Alvin Nichols, Sr., her daughter Deborah Cates, 2 brothers, Jimmy Aldridge and Bill Aldridge, and her sister Ina Colvin, as well as her grandaughter, Amanda Nichols. .
She is survived by her daughter Vickie Smith of Blytheville, AR, step children Alvin, Jr. (Cindy) Nichols of Coy, AR, Micheal (Linda) Nichols of England, AR and Suzanne Havard of England, AR as well as her brother Kenneth Aldridge (Jerle Ann) Aldridge, of Austin, AR. 9 grandchildren Shannon (Ricky) Baker, Jimmy (Tracy) Cates, Greg (Teresa) Strawn and Amanda (Rob) Hild, Jolynn Nichols, Bliss (Chance) Beeman, Nicole (Anthony) Ozment, Natalie Nichols-McCowan and Zach (Micah) Nichols. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11-1 on Friday April 13, 2018 and funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 13, 2018 both at Wilson Robison Funeral Home Chapel in England, AR. Burial will be at Union Valley Cemetery of Coy, AR. Wilson Robinson Funeral Home of England, AR. in charge of the arrangements.
