Valerie Kae Ennis, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017 at the age of 57. Valerie lost her battle with cancer while she was resting comfortably at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House at St. Bernards.

Valerie was born on August 10, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Briggs Hoskinson and Van Leon Hoskinson. She started her family in Columbus with her then husband, Jeffrey Ennis, and later moved to Savannah, Georgia with their two children. She was a homemaker with a keen eye for uniqueness, and was also blessed with a green thumb. Valerie loved the sunshine and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Rae (Dan) Hill, son, Jaron Ennis, grandchildren, Trenton, Jaden and Nathaniel. Valerie leaves behind additional friends and family members including her longtime companion Clarence Cowley, whom cared for her up until her final moments.

A private memorial service will be hosted by close family and friends to celebrate and honor Valerie's life. The family would like to thank the staff at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House as well as Wilson Robison Funeral Home for their care and support.
