Everett Mansfield

Everett Mansfield, 75 of Des Arc, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas. Born January 19, 1942 in Edgar Springs, Missouri, he was the son of James Lewis Mansfield and Lucille Dixon Mansfield.

Survivors include his daughter, Bernice Louise Mansfield; and son, Curtis Lee Mansfield, both of Des Arc; his grandson, Brent Everett Mansfield of Ada, Oklahoma and his granddaughter, Alexandria Lee Scott of Searcy; two sisters, Juanita Pearl Keister and Lucille Florence Rogers, both of Lawton, Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his son, James Allen Mansfield; his parents; six brothers, William Jack Mansfield, James Leonard Mansfield, Homer Everett Mansfield, Carl Edward Mansfield, Billy Wayne Mansfield and Lewis Junior Mansfield; and one sister, Geneva Marie Davidson.

He also leaves behind his long time companion, Patricia Ann Cunningham and her children who will miss him dearly.

Everett was a talented carpenter and enjoyed woodworking and painting. He was an honest, hard-working man who enjoyed life.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, September 16th at 2 p.m. at the American Agriculture Movement building. (707 Hwy 11 N.) followed by the burial of his ashes at Lakeside Cemetery (1006 Main Street) in Des Arc, Arkansas.

Cremation remains entrusted to Wilson Robison Funeral Home in England, Arkansas.
