I am sitting here almost too overcome with emotion to say anything, except to say that some of the best times I ever had were with Joan through the 1970's. Going out to dinner was an almost mythical experience. When Joan walked into the Rib Room or The Pontchartrain Hotel's dining room everyone stopped and all eyes were on here. She was a parade. Even her explosions were entertaining. It was a misunderstanding that separated us all these years and that I have regretted all this time. There will never be another like her and with her death something important passed from the Vieux Carre. My heart is hurting so much that all I can say is, Joan, I love you, Ray
