Arthur Lee Jackson

The sun set on the life of Mr. Arthur Lee Jackson, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in England. The sun first rose on his life May 19, 1951. He was the son of Jesse and Johnnie Q. Jackson Parks.

Arthur Lee confessed his hope in Christ at an early age. He attended Gartrell High School in England; the Class of '69. He was a longtime employee of General Motors in Flint, Michigan, and Riceland Rice in Stuttgart.

He was a kind person who never said, “No.” He was always first to help anyone. He loved his children, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He was a faithful friend to the love of his life, Hattie Brown. He always had a kind word for everyone. Arthur Lee loved to barbecue and cook, and fish.

Arthur Lee was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Jackson; daughter, Melissa Hutchison; grandson, Jake Deric Brooks; brothers, John Lee Parks, Bobby Jackson, Kenneth Parks, Harold Jackson, Samuel Parks, and Mike Parks.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Common Law wife, Hattie Brown of England; his mother, Johnnie Q. Parks of England; his son, Maurice (LaTora) Howell of Flint Michigan; his grandchildren, Brittany (Billy Ray) Moore, Antonio and April Hutchison of North Little Rock; DeOuahnae Howell of Flint Michigan; brothers, James and Lawrence Parks of England; sisters, Deloris Jackson Davis of Flint, Michigan, Deloris Jackson Davis of Fort Smith, Jessie (Donnie) King of Little Rock, Elnora Parks of North Little Rock, and Doris Parks of Pine Bluff; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 11:00am at Clear Lake Cemetery in England. Services are under the direction of Wilson Robison Funeral Home in England
