Betty Jo (Hughes) Ward

Betty Jo Ward, 83, of England, went to be with the Lord August 20, 2021, with her daughter Mitzi at her side. She was a wife and mother of three. Betty was born on August 9, 1938, in England, Arkansas, to Arlin and Louise Childers Hughes. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Adrin, for 63 years.

Betty was a fun-loving person her whole life. She loved bling, and making honey-do lists for her husband. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, and she was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Adrin; sister, Jo Ann Smith; daughter, Terri Jumonville; and son, Michael Ward. She is survived by her daughter, Mitzi (Ken) Titus; sister, Pam (Johnny) Faulkner; grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) McGhee, Garrett (Courtney) McGhee, Adriana Horton, Brandon (Sarah) Whitfield, Roxanne (James) Marlar, Spencer (Haley) Ward; sisters-in- law, Geauchita Cathcart and Mary (Jim) Poole; brother-in-law, Bud (Jenny) Ward; eleven great-grandchildren, and special life-long friends Danny and Jo Anne Maynard.

Pallbearers are Justin McGhee, Garrett McGhee, Spencer Ward, Brandon Whitfield, Johnny Faulkner and Ken Titus. Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Maynard, Bodie Cobb, and Claude Spradlin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 10:00AM at Wilson Robison Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England.
