Cecil Claude Powell

Cecil Claude Powell, Jr., 72, of Pine Bluff, left this world for his eternal home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born on October 8, 1946, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to Cecil and Margaret Ivan Powell.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hardin Powell of Pine Bluff; his sisters, Carla (Paul) McKeegan of Tiltonsville, Ohio, and Kathy (Jeff) Bernard of Steubenville, Ohio; his beloved cat, “Little Cecil;” his dog, “Thunder;” and a host of family and friends.

Cecil was a Master Electrician at T & N Electric Co., Inc.  He was a “jack of all trades,” able to fix just about anything. He loved working and could easily be called a “workaholic.” He was a veteran, having served in the US Navy.

Cecil, a 35-year resident of Arkansas, was a quiet man and a very kind man. He loved animals, especially his own.
