Cecilia Anita Givens

Cecilia Anita Givens, 95, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on April 21, 2021, She was born to Lillian Francis Coy and Ruel Bryant McCandless on April 24, 1925, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ..

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Eural "Nick" Cason Givens; son-in-law, Kenny Joe Siems; her twin sister Rita Francis Land; brothers James Bryant McCandless and William Franklin McCandless. She is survived by a daughter, Linn Siems, of Sherwood; her children, Glenn (Manami) Workman of Hampton, Virginia, Brandon Givens (Linden) Siems of Fayetteville and Jared Siems of NLR; and a son, Robert (Janet) Givens; his children Jennifer (John) Gutman, Todd (Jessica) Givens of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, and Matthew (Susan) Givens of Glasgow, Kentucky. She had 14 great-grandchildren;  Nick, Leo, and Ty Workman; Erin, Bryn, and Benton Siems; Lindsey, Caden, and Lauren Gutman; and Oliver, Hudson, Beckett, Cason, and Mac Givens

The family wishes to acknowledge family doctor and friend, Joe Lee Buford, and her family at Fox Ridge North, where she resided for the past 6 years. Their love, care and concern has meant so much.

Her memorial celebration will be Tuesday, June 29, at 10:00AM at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery Pavilion at NLR.

She was a member of Levy Church of Christ, 5124 Camp Robinson Road, NLR, 72118. Memorials may be sent to Levy Missions or to River City Ministries, 1021 Washington Avenue, NLR, 72114.

Cremation was handled by Wilson Robinson Funeral Home of England. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
