Charlotte (Burkes) Vergara

Charlotte Burkes Vergara, 63, of Helena,  passed away Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born in Helena, Arkansas on August 7, 1958 to Clarence and Vella Burkes. 

Charlotte loved gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her family. 

Charlotte was proceeded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne Burkes, George Evans and Terry Evans. She is survived by her children, Jason Smith (Tracy) of Humnoke and Sarah Hersh of Daytona Beach, FL; a brother, Darrell Burkes (Audrey) of West Helena; a sister, Pat Smith (Randy) of Poplar Grove; grandchildren, Blakely Crane, Jenna Reed, Cooper Smith, Angel Hersh Jr., Skylar Hersh, Cohen Smith and Sebastian Hersh; and her beloved dog, Prissy Mae. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
