Christopher Lee Fortune

Christopher Lee Fortune 50, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Tuesday August 27, 2024 at his home. He was born August 29, 1973 in Holland Michigan to Columbus and Karen Resseguie Fortune.

Chris worked several years for Wal-Mart Distribution. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, dad and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father,  and both sets of grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Karen Whatley and husband Duane of Augusta, his wife of 33 years Daisy Cansler Fortune of the home, his son Jordan Fortune and Llogan Jones of Augusta, one grandson Brylin Fortune of Augusta, three granddaughters Kiyah Fortune, Makilee and Makinley Jones all of Augusta, one brother Jonathan Fortune of McCrory and his mother and father in law Charles “Etie” and Ella Mae Cansler of McCrory. He is also survives by a sister-in-law Bonnie Cansler of Hickory Ridge, several nieces nephews and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1PM at the Calvary Church north of McCrory, Arkansas , with Brother Ferrell Wiggins officiating.

Cremation services are entrusted to Wilson Robison Funeral Home of England.
