Cynthia (Stills) Omholt

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Omholt passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born on December 31, 1951, in England, Arkansas, to Alvin and Mildred Stills. A woman of the Baptist faith, her life was defined by her dedication to her family, her friends, and her many students.

On February 6, 1970, she married Jimmy Kearby, and together they began building their family before his untimely passing on January 23, 1980. She later married Richard Cagle and embarked on a fulfilling career in education, beginning her teaching journey with the England School District in 1988. Cindy eventually married Shawn Omholt, and in 1996, she stepped away from the classroom for several years to help open Bryant Brake and Tire alongside him. However, her heart ultimately led her back to education; she returned to teaching in England and spent her final years in the classroom with the Little Rock School District at Henderson Middle School, where she later retired.

Outside of her career, Cindy found immense joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved traveling with Shawn, taking memorable trips and spending time with her best friends, relaxing with her favorite television shows, and being with her grandchildren.  Cindy had a way of making everything fun.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Stills; her mother and stepfather, Mildred and Frank Limbaugh; and her husbands, Jimmy Kearby and Shawn Omholt.

Cindy leaves behind her daughter, Amber Stallard (Mark); her son, James Kearby-Cagle (Stephanie); and her cherished grandchildren, Josh Stallard, Carlie Stallard, Brice Cagle, and Libby Cagle. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Pam Faulkner and Brenda Martin, along with many extended family members, friends, and former students. 

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Greystone Nursing and Rehab for the exceptional love, compassion, and care they showed to Cindy and her family over the last several months.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 2, 2026, at 1PM at Wilson Robison Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Arkansas. Memorial service will follow at 2PM. Services are entrusted to Wilson Robison Funeral Home England, Arkansas. Online condolences may be left at www.wilsonrobisonfhengland.com
