Daisy Mae (Cansler) Fortune

Daisy Mae Fortune  53, of Searcy, Arkansas gained her angel wings Sunday September 15, 2024 in North Little Rock surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1971 in McCrory, Arkansas the daughter of Charles (Etie) and Ella Mae Beal Cansler.

Daisy was of the Baptist faith. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She always was trying to help everyone else. She would have given you the last dime she had and never think twice about it. She really loved her family. Her grandchildren were her whole life. She loved spending time with them, taking them to school, taking Brylin to football practice and attending his football games. She also loved Nas car racing, mud bogging and dirt track racing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 34 years Chris Fortune.

Left to cherish her memory are one son Jordan Fortune and Llogan Jones of Augusta, her parents Charles (Etie) and Ella Mae Cansler of McCrory, one sister Bonnie Cansler of Hickory Ridge, three granddaughters Kiyah Fortune, Makilee and Makinley Jones all of Augusta, one grandson Brylin Fortune of Augusta, a very special aunt and uncle Georgia Faye Beal Tucker and Ron Tucker of England, Arkansas and Her mother In law Karen Fortune Whatley and Duane of Augusta.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1PM at the Calvary Church north of McCrory, Arkansas with Brother Ferrell Wiggins officiating.

Cremation services are entrusted to Wilson Robison Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Ar.
