David Ross Ricci, 78, of Little Rock died peacefully on Nov 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his wife and devoted care givers. He was born in Asbury Park, N.J. to Norman and Lillian Ricci.
David held many titles in his professional career. He started in radio in 1961, where he ran the control board for disc jockey Alan Freed at radio station KDAY in Los Angeles, CA. In the early 1970’s, he and Wolf Man Jack ran the Border Blasters, where they were able to broadcast to more that half of the United States and Mexico. His greatest claim to fame was being the original voice of Skelator from The He-Man Series. After his time in radio and voice acting, David bought a semi-truck and enjoyed travelling the United States. David accepted our Lord and Savior later in life and was of the Baptist faith.
In 2004, he married the love of his life, Judy Scott Ricci. They enjoyed 20 years of marriage before his passing. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Ashlee and son David, grandchildren Justen and Ariana of Los Angeles, CA.
