Dophny Pat-White (Bailey) Willis

June 14, 1946 ~ December 1, 2022 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Obituary

Dophny “Pat Bailey White” Willis, 76 of Deridder, Louisiana, passed away

peacefully in her home December 1, 2022, where she was surrounded

and held by her children and grandchildren. For many years, she fought

the hard battle of terminal kidney disease, however; her body grew

tired, and she was called to her heavenly home. In advance, though. She

excitedly rejoiced in the LORD’s words. She was ready to move on to our

Fathers’ Golden Gates and reunite with her eldest son.

She was born the 8th child, the baby of the Bailey family June 14, 1946,

in Rosepine, Louisiana, to Elmer and Elizabeth Bailey. Pat was a true

Christian lady with the biggest tender heart, never meeting a stranger,

ending every farewell with “I love you” no matter if she just met them.

She is the definition of a mother and grandmother. Some people knew

her as “Pat,” but in her actual world, she was called “Mom” or “Granny.”

From grocery shopping with Mike and Diana, spotting a garage sale sign a

mile away were her favorite things to do. Weekends consisted of

cooking for the “Kids”, as she would say. She would swipe Kenny’s socks

and snicker in Gumbo cooking competitions with Jon insisting that there

should not be any boiled eggs in it.  She would stand in the kitchen

teaching Caitlin how to make “her” Chocolate pies, cutting up and pick-

ing on Payton, and motherly loving Baylei. She would be chatting and

planning Christmas shopping with Inkeri for Raymond, Hayden and

CamCam. Not to mention the moment she would see Manuel’s truck she

would cook him his favorite “egg sandwich” that he never could turn

down.  Not locking her door because of Punky Punk’s daily visits asking,

“How you doing, you need anything Granny”?

This family had the storybook hallmark gatherings with an abundance of

love and loud laughter. She showed the true meaning of devotion to her

family. These are some of the many memories that this family will always

cherish in the remembrance of Mom and Granny.

Although with great happiness, and love in Pat’s life, she experienced

great sorrow and heartbreak in April 2021, with the loss of her eldest

son, Timothy Ray White, who passed away in his sleep. She tussled with

sorrow and happiness at the same time, showing proof of strength when

the little lady smiled with a tear running down her face missing Tim.

This lady was a genuine Mother, Mom, and best friend.

Pat was preceded in the death by her parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Left on this earth to cherish her memory are her son, Michael H. White;

daughter, Diana Williamson and husband Kenneth; grandchildren,

Manuel & Inkeri Ybarra, Jonathan & Caitlin Williamson, Payton & Baylei

Williamson, Shawn Williamson and Lindsay Williamson; great

grandchildren, Caleb (Punky-Punk), Lakynn, Raymond, Hayden, Camden

(Cam-Cam); and a host of nieces and nephews.
