Dorothy Adams, 96 of England, passed away on Monday, January 26th, 2026. She was a beautiful lady both inside and out. She is survived by two sons, Bill Adams of North Little Rock and Al Adams and his wife Sue of Franklin, TN. She has three grandsons Scotty Adams (Heather) of Bryant, Zac Adams of Nashville, TN and Michael (Erik) Adams of Denver, CO. Great-grandsons Parker (Blair Jane) Adams of Bryant, Aiden Adams of Bryant, Sebastian Chavez-Adams of Falls Church, VA and the baby great granddaughter Addy Adams of Bryant. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Evelyn Adams.
Dorothy married Billy Adams on December 25th, 1947 and were together until his death in 2002. She was the youngest child of David and Edna Hughes. She was preceded in death by brothers Arlin and Olin Hughes and sisters Mildred Fisher and Thelma Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her daughter in law Becky Adams and granddaughter Dianna Adams.
The family would also like to thank Dorothy’s wonderful caregivers the last 6 years for their loving care led by Annette McLawhorn who Dorothy loved like a daughter.
Dorothy is also survived by special friends Dorothy Morey of Little Rock and Paula Greenbaum of Arizona.
Funeral Services are by Wilson-Robison Funeral Home in England. Visitation will be 10 am on Saturday with funeral services to follow at 11 am. “Granny” as she was called by many loved the color purple. We ask that you honor her by wearing purple at her funeral Saturday.
