Evelyn Aguilar Vásquez, mother, grandmother, and a woman of strength, passed away
peacefully on June 1st, 2025, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Adopted by Florence and Antonio Vasquez, Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved
parents, her brother Raymond, as well as her cherished children George Manrique and Ruthie
Aguilar.
Evelyn spent much of her life working diligently as an administrative assistant, a role she
undertook with determination while raising six children as a single mother. Evelyn found deep
joy in worship music and was known for her expressive love of interpretive dance—a reflection
of her vibrant spirit and connection to God.
In her later years, Evelyn embraced the simple pleasures of life. She loved sharing meals with
friends and family and could always appreciate a good movie to end the day.
She is survived by her children Mark Mann (Tina), Tom Aguilar (Rhonda), Josh Aguilar (Noemi),
and Judy Aguilar, along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren are who will carry the
best parts of her love and legacy forward.
Evelyn will be remembered for her resilience and her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who
