Gail Wayne Staton 85, of England, Arkansas passed away Sunday April 6, 2025 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He was born November 22, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas a son of Seab and Modena Rollins Staton.
He loved farming, John Deere tractors and his family. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from UPS
He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children Jessie Staton, Brothers: Joe, Eugene, Paul, and Ray: Sisters: Jeanette Newton, Ruth Grisham, and Elsa Dixon. Two sons: Rickey and Robert Carr: one granddaughter Micah Myers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Dorothy Carr Staton who he loved very much: one son, Stanley Staton of Pine Bluff, Arkansas: three daughters: Donna Harris (Mike) of Dumas, Arkansas, Gayla Bogy( Keith) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Cindy Hoy (Noble) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas: one brother Junior Staton (Brenda) of Sherwood, Arkansas: two sisters Martha Cantrell of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Fay Brown of Mabelvale, Arkansas: Grandchildren: Jessica, Eric, Brandon, John, Josh, Trent, Colt, David, and Jennifer: Great grandchildren Haley, Josh, Shelby, Lily, Ava Rae, Stormi Shea, Joli: one great great grandchild Sutton and one on the way.
Visitation will be Thursday April 10, 2025 at 10 AM at Rowes Chapel Church in Humnoke Arkansas. Funeral Services will follow at 11 Am also at the church with Pastor Pat Fulmer officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers are Eric Staton, Brandon Rushing, John Horn, Josh Horn, Josh Halpain, and Colt Carr.
Interment will follow at the Hamilton Cemetery in Humnoke.
Services are entrusted to Wilson-Robison Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Arkansas.
