Mrs. Ida Mae Edmonson, 100 of Seaton, Arkansas passed away on Sunday 12 January 2025 in Carlisle, Arkansas. She was born May 2, 1924 to the late Albert Bizzell and Mamie Schiele in St. Joseph, Louisiana.
She loved sewing, crossword puzzles, gospel music and writing.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, late husband J. C. Edmonson and several children,, siblings, and other family members.
She is survived by three daughters and four sons; Mamie Edmonson, Vergia Edmonson, (Talley), Terri Edmonson, Halbert Edmonson, Bobby, Edmonson, Billy Edmonson, and J.C. Edmonson JR. One brother Eddie Bizzell, and one sister Hazel Stuart, countless grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The family is grateful for all the calls, cards, and visits from family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Chambers Nursing Home in Carlisle, Arkansas for the care love and joy you showed Ida. Her favorite song carried her through life "Down through the years the Lord been good to me" Cherish the day, live and love others as the Lord directs us all to do.
Visitation will be held Saturday January 18, 2025 at 11AM at Wilson-Robison funeral Home Chapel in England, Arkansas followed by her funeral service at 12:30 PM.
