J D Peoples, 91, of Humphrey, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 25, 2021. He was born March 16, 1930, in Russellville, Arkansas, to J W and Tippy Ann Peoples.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evelyn Peoples; and his brother, Robert; and his niece, Katherine. He is survived by his step-children, Samuel (Becky) Parham of Carlisle, Glenda Parham of Humphrey, and Manuel (Beth) Parham of Little Rock; his sister-in-law, Katherine Peoples of Carlisle; nephews, Johnny and Sheryl Peoples and Robert Peoples, Jr. of Carlisle; nieces, Ricky and Diane Givens of Carlisle and Eric and Jean Hart of Beebe; and his beloved cat, "Kitty."
J D regularly attended Humphrey Pentecostal Church of God. He worked at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart as a sheller operator for 25 years. He was an avid walker, loved mowing lawns and picking up aluminum cans. He also enjoyed farm work. He had a very caring heart; he would give to anyone.
Visitation will be at Wilson Robison Chapel in England from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday July 1, 2021. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will be at Flynn Cemetery in Humnoke.
