James Roy Jackson, 69, of England, Arkansas, died at his home Saturday, April 10, 2021.
He was born May 28, 1951 to George Junior Jackson and Bessie Lee Browning Jackson.
He was of the Baptist faith.
James loved the outdoors and worked as a farm laborer until his health forced him to retire three years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Jackson, of Little Rock; three sons: Jimmy and Robert Jackson; Troy Jones; one daughter, Jennifer Bell (Chris); one grandson, Nicholas; five brothers: Charles Jackson (Anita), of Ft. Smith; Tommy Wayne Jackson; Gary Jackson (Brenda); Jerry Jackson (Shawn); Ronnie Jackson (Sandra), all of England; one sister, Carolyn Bolin, also of England; and, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Union Valley Cemetery, near Coy, Arkansas. Rev. Logan Fullerton will be in charge of the service.
The five remaining brothers and nephew Joseph Bolin will serve as pallbearers.
