James Hulen Mitchell

James Hulen Mitchell, 91, of England, formerly from Ohio, passed away Tuesday April 9, 2024.  He was the son of the late Clarence and Ethel (Waddell) Mitchell.  He was born August 24, 1932 in Lonoke County.

Jim was a self-made entrepreneur.  He created and ran many successful businesses, but being a car dealer was his favorite.  He served in the Army for two years as a Court Martial Clerk. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of England.   

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Shirley Mae Mitchell Frizzell.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James Thomas and Beth Mitchell of California;

His daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Craig Stone of Alabama;

His brother, Owen Mitchell of Ohio;

And assorted grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

James’  services are entrusted to the care of Wilson Robison Funeral Home, 701 Pine Bluff Hwy, England. The visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2024, 1:00PM to 2:00PM with the services beginning at 2pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  A short graveside service will follow.
