Jeffery Dean Martin better known as “Uncle Bubba”, 58, passed away on July 9, 2022. He was born in Little Rock, AR, on December 12, 1963, to Carl Dean and Lois Anna Martin.
Uncle Bubba was a one-of-a-kind person. He was a business man and loved to build things like his handmade custom knives. He loved playing the guitar, singing, and two steppin. When he picked up the guitar you can bet you were going to hear some Lynyrd Skynyrd and George Strait. He had an amazing passion for music. Uncle Bubba was also a teacher to his family and enjoyed passing on his knowledge of business, riding wheelies, and more. He loved his family; and took pride in his children, including his fur babies Scooter and FatFat. Uncle Bubba was charming, funny, uncompromising, resilient, kind, hardworking, and an all-around “Bad Ass”.
Uncle Bubba lived a challenging but vibrant life, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, JoeAnna Elliott, and infant son Jason Carl Martin. He is survived by his first wife, Patricia Martin of Fort Worth, TX; second wife, Mary Ann Martin of Aledo, TX; daughter, Stefanie Martinez (Jody) of Benbrook, TX; sons, Geoffrey Martin of Fort Worth, TX and Nicholas Martin of Aledo, TX; sister, Denise Whitworth of Alexander, AR; grandson, Logan Martinez; many nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and friends that loved him.
Interment will be held at Mulberry Cemetery on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. A celebration of life will be held after the interment at Niecy’s in Benton, AR, at 3 p.m.
