Jerry Floyd Miller

Jerry Floyd Miller, age 79 of Hot Springs, Arkansas formally of Carlisle, Arkansas. passed away Sunday October 11, 2020 at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. He was born July 14, 1941 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Floyd and Guineveir Pearcy Miller. Jerry was a hard working man when he wasn't farming he would be roofing and remodeling homes in the winter months, he retired from farming after 47 years. In his spare time he loved watching his kids and grandchildren playing sports and he enjoyed playing golf. Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church in Carlisle, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Miller and grandson, Jake Caviness. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn; three daughters, Monica Caviness and husband Harlan, Missy Hillman and husband John, all of Carlisle, Arkansas and Jennifer Sheets and husband Neal of England, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Clayton Hillman, Sydney Long and husband Dawson, Callie Hillman, Cole Sheets and Zachary Caviness; one sister, Shelby Clements and husband Daryl; one sister in-law, Rita Miller and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Village Springs Nursing home and the nurses at Arkansas Hospice at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs.  

A graveside service will be held at 9 am. Saturday, October 17th 2020 at Carlisle Cemetery, Brother David Lee officiating.
