Erby John “Buck” Hankins , 87, of Stuttgart, Arkansas formerly of England passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at his home. Buck was born March 11, 1937 to Locy and Erby Hankins in England, Arkansas.
Buck loved to hunt and fish, he was an avid outdoorsman. He was very strong willed, stubborn, and independent. You knew where you stood with him. He worked at Riceland Foods for thirty years as a broiler foreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Betty Tipton; and two nieces Pam and Karen Tipton.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Hankins of the home; two sons Eddie Hankins (Kitty Holohan) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Johnathan W. Hankins of Spiro, Oklahoma; one daughter Regina McKinny of Muldrow, Oklahoma; one step-daughter Lorrie Baker of Humphery, Arkansas and one step-son Doug Wiggins Jr. of Bostrop, Texas; four brothers George Hankins of Wright, Arkansas; Billy Hankins of Mountain View, Arkansas; Danny Hankins and wife Lynne of Malvern, Arkansas; and Richard Hankins and wife Fredia of Houston, Arkansas; one sister Gail Grinstead of Cabot, Arkansas; and one sister-in-law Rita Turner; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Hobson of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Jennifer O’Leary of Van Buren, Arkansas, Emily Goins of Mansfield, Arkansas, Melissa Hankins of Spiro, Oklahoma, Ashley Hankins, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Brittany Gregory of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Kyle McKinney of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Ryan McKinney of Pocola, Oklahoma, and Kristopher McKinney of Tulsa, Oklahoma; several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
No visitation is planned.
A graveside service will be Tuesday October 22, 2024 at 3PM at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
Services are entrusted to Wilson-Robinson Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Arkansas.
