Jon Lee Baker, 64, of Stuttgart, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2023, at his home in Stuttgart. He was born August 6, 1958, in Stuttgart to the late Clayton and Mae Dilday Baker.
A lifetime resident of Arkansas, Jon was a self-employed farmer. He attended college for about a year, but decided farming was how he wanted to spend his life. He loved farming, animals, and traveling. Just say the word, and he was ready to go wherever you wanted to go. He also liked fast, classic cars.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Sam Hinze. He is survived by his daughters, Alicia Baker and Ashley (Kenny) Allen, all of Stuttgart, Adelae (Nic) D’Antonio of Baltimore, Maryland, and Alyson Morris of York, Pennsylvania; a sister, Sandy (Mike) Popkin of Hot Springs; several grandchildren, and the mother of his daughters, Michelle Wells of Tampa, Florida.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Wilson Robison Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of Jon's life will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Interment will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart. Jon is in the care of Wilson Robison Funeral Home, 701 Pine Bluff Hwy, England, Arkansas, 501-842-3901.
