Josephine (Ford) Cotton, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2026, in England.  Josephine was born on October 9, 1946, to Thomas Owen and Jewell (Mixon) Ford in Wabash, AR.
Josephine’s legacy will live on in her four kids and her eight grandkids whom she loved and cherished above everything else.  
Josephine is survived by her children Douglas “Doug” Cotton; James Cotton and wife, Nina; Crystal Jordan and husband, Joseph; and Carl Cotton and wife, Natalie; her eight grandchildren Dakota Cotton, Stormie Cotton, Abigail Sanders, David Edward, Anna McNeely, Zachary Brister, Emily Brister, and Carl Wayne Cotton.  She is also survived by her brother, Thomas “Jr” Owen Ford and sister-in-law, Carol; brother, James “Pee Wee” William Ford; sister, Joyce Marie Bevil, and brother-in-law, Wayne; and sister, Betty Jean Reynolds and brother-in-law, David. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jewell Ford; sister, Sybil Jenkins; brother, Daniel “Bill” Lee Ford; stepbrother, Edward Ford; and stepbrother, Robert Ford.
