Obituary
Judith Christina Gilmore, 78, of Benton, went to be with her LORD on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was born May 2, 1944, in Phoenix, Arizona, to the late L. V. and Mary Chapman Smith. She was a member of Gates of Praise Church in Glenwood, Arkansas.
Judith earned a bachelor’s degree from college, but she found that being a mother and a homemaker was how she wanted to spend her life.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles DeVern Gilmore. She is survived by four sons, Patrick Gilmore of Bloomington, Indiana, Mike (Tonya) Gilmore of Conway, Mark Daniel (Mary) Gilmore of Bloomington, Indiana, and Matthew Kent (Stacy) Gilmore of Amity; three daughters, Marcey Poole of Sherwood, Melissa Gilmore of Benton, and Melody (Max) Fales of Central Lake, Michigan; two brothers, Ben (Connie) Smith of Yuma, Arizona and Steve (Dani) Smith of Kinston, North Carolina; one sister, Jean Brown of Columbus, Georgia, 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held by the family on Saturday, September 11, 2022.
