Linda Jowers Obituary

Linda Sue Thacker, Brazel, Jowers 72, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday October 6, 2025 at the Baptist Hospital in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was born June 23, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of Russell and Ida Thacker Evans. Linda was employed by the England school district for 38 years as a cafeteria worker. She also cooked at the First Baptist Church, known for her Wednesday night dinners, peach cobbler and home  made cinnamon rolls. She did volunteer work for the food bank of England, Arkansas,  helped dip chicken salad and pimento cheese with her daughter at the England flower shop. Always had a smile on her face and was there to help when needed. Loved her church family and friends  .She loved Paul and her two dogs Buddie and Mello. Linda loved all her family especially her grand children and great grand children. Very much. She loved bingo, chicken foot, the day of the library and senior center in England, Arkansas. She also loved word search books, and her worthers candy. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Debbie Phillips  and Nellie Lopez ; one brother Gary Thacker; two sons Jason Jowers and Phillip Brazeal; one grandson (P.J.) Phillip Joseph Brazeal; one daughter Lisa Brazeal, Aunt Kathy her best friend ever! Survivors include her husband Paul Jowers; five children Vernon Brazeal and wife Sherri of Coy, Arkansas, Patrick Jowers and wife Jennifer of San Antonio, Texas; Lee Jowers of Carlise, Arkansas; Terry Brazeal and wife Donna of Greenbrier. Arkansas; and Carmen Brazeal of England Arkansas. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Linda had eight children, twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 6PM till 8PM at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Arkansas .Funeral Service will be held Thursday October 9, 2025 at the First Baptist Church 201 E Haywood Street England, Arkansas The family would like to thank the Stuttgart Baptist Health nurses and hospice group for their wonder care for Linda.
