Louise (Puddin) Coleman O’Neal-Rockwell, 94, passed away on August 25, 2023, in Sherwood, Arkansas.
Puddin was born on March 1, 1929, in England, Arkansas to Jessee and Mae Rockwell. She grew up happily on a cotton farm in Humnoke, Arkansas, with her ten brothers and sisters.
Puddin was a devoted member and instructor of an exercise group at the Cabot Senior Center for several years. She was also an avid flower gardener. Puddin was also a hard worker and worked for thirty plus years at Kellwood in Lonoke, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those that loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rosie Carter, Tobe Jones, Dink Looney, Marie (Sis) Harrison, Dorothy Rose, and Elaine Kimsey; brothers, Farrell, Bill, and Bokes Rockwell; brother who died in childhood, Nathaniel Rockwell; and grandson, Grant Davis.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gina Dean and Janette Cole of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Kris Bond of Florida; sister, Betty Underwood of Carlise, Arkansas; grandchildren, Shellie Saunders Johns of Virginia, Stacie McClellan of Sherwood, Jason Lee Hale of North Little Rock, Shana Saunders of Rhode Island, Jason Melvin of Texas, and Regina Davis of Florida; as well as seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial service, officiated by Mitch Delaney, will be held at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 4 p.m.
