Mildred Roberts, age 88 of England, passed away Saturday May 16, 2020 in England, Arkansas. She was born June 9, 1931 to the late Coleman and Bessie Cates Cullum in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Mildred loved spending time and cooking for her family, loved to quilt, go shopping, especially yard sales and flea markets, loved going to church where she was faithful member of England Pentecostal Church of God.
Mildred is preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Doyle Spradlin and second husband, Ray Roberts who she was also married to for 35 years; brothers, Weldon, Harold, James and Selby Cullum; sisters, Lorene Wilson, Marvell Null, Bernice Holladay, Mary Tackett and Linda Swofford; daughter in-law, Melba Spradlin.
Mildred is survived by her son, Calvin Spradlin; daughter, Betty Spradlin Sullivan and husband Jim all of England; five grandchildren, James Sullivan, Jennifer Ramsey and husband Mike, Rodney Spradlin, Kathy Bellott and husband Eric, and Roger Spradlin and wife Magan; twelve great grandchildren, Ragan Spradlin, Blake Benson, Skyler Spradlin, Karissa Spradlin, Izac Bellott, Caleb Sullivan, Abby Bellott, Brooklynn Sullivan, Jacob Ramsey, Langston Spradlin, Landon Spradlin and Lily Harrison; special sister in-law, Melva Williams; brothers, Farrell Cullum and Billy Joe Cullum (Kathy); sisters, Norman Anderson and Fran Stiltner; and a host of neices and nephew and other family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 20, 2020 in the Chapel of Wilson Robison funeral home with Graveside Service be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 20, 2020 at Quattlebaum Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas with Brother, David Mackey officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday May 19, 2020. in the chapel of Wilson Robison Funeral Home. Pallbearers are James Sullivan, Rodney Spradlin, Roger Spradlin, Blake Benson, Izac Bellott, Caleb Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Ramsey, Langston Spradlin, Landon Spradlin, Mike Ramsey, Eric Bellott, and Lonnie Ward. Please be aware, as per State Directives, there will be a limit of 50 guests, all guests over age 10 must wear a face covering and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
