Sheila E Cockrell 74, of White Hall passed away Saturday August 31, 2024 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 5, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Milton E and Bertha M. (Rowe) Hamilton. She was reared and received her early education in Humphrey, Arkansas, she went on to complete nursing school in Pine Bluff and became a LPN working in several states including three years in Germany.
She loved fishing and camping, spending much of her time at Lake Ouachita.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, a step-son John A Rogers and a grandson R.J.. Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband Wheeler Cockrell of the home, two sons Rodney E. Hamilton of Hot Springs and Jason E. Cockrell of White Hall, two granddaughters Gracy E. Cockrell of White Hall and Michelle Dunreman of Waynesville, Missouri, two grandsons Jason D Cockrell of White Hall and Christopher Hamilton of Waynesville, Missouri, and three great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held Wednesday September 4, 2024 at 2P.M. at Flynn Cemetery near Humphrey with Brother Jordan Ferris officiation.
Services are entrusted to Wilson Robison Funeral Home 701 Pine Bluff Highway England.
