Tommy Wayne Jackson, 74, of England, Arkansas, died at his home Saturday,
October 12, 2024.
He was born March 17, 1950 to George Junior Jackson and Bessie Lee Browning
Jackson in Altheimer, Arkansas.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Wayne loved all activities of the outdoors. He retired in 2017 after a 31-year career
with Hendrix College in Conway as part of its maintenance crew. During his high school
days he was affectionately known as “Bonzo” by his classmates.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Roy Jackson.
Survivors include four brothers: Charles Junior Jackson, of Ft. Smith; Gary Dean
Jackson (Brenda); Jerry McKinley Jackson; Ronnie Lynn Jackson, all of England; and,
one sister, Carolyn Ann Jackson Bolin, also of England; and, numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Union
Valley Cemetery, near Coy, Arkansas.
No visitation is planned.
