Vandel Titus Washington, 72, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 25, 1949. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended ACTS church in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Vandel could fix almost anything. He was an avid fisherman, and he never liked to say goodbye to anyone. Due to an injury several years ago, he rode a scooter everywhere he went and was known to most as “Mr. Scooter”.
Mr. Washington was proceeded in death by sister, Yvonne Hampton; and Deloris Harrison.
He is survived by his son, Vandel Washington, Jr.-Troutman and his wife Shannon Troutman; of Jacksonville, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Elihu, Imani, and Nathanael Troutman of Charlotte, North Carolina, and his significant other Dorothy White.
Vandel is in the care of Wilson Robison Funeral Home in England, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held June 22, 2022 at 11:00 am, at ACTS Church, 1224 Franklin Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114.
