William (PO) Waldrop

William “PO” Waldrop, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. “PO” as his family lovingly called him, lived a wonderful 82 years. He was born October 17, 1941 to Cully and Lorena Waldrop in Phenix City, Alabama.

PO was a man full of adventure and fun. In his free time he enjoyed watching sports with his family and friends. PO spent much of his time playing golf with his wife, Barabra Waldrop, fishing his favorite lake in Branson, Missouri, and gathering his family together on weekends. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and used his work ethic and integrity in his everyday life.

PO was a crucial part of his family and spread laughter and kindness with everyone he met. He will be missed everyday by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was the ideal family man, and will be missed by all who knew him.

PO was a faithful member of the Altar Church in Keo, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents: one sister Mickey Timbes: one grandchild Danielle Bush: one great grandchild Zoe Bush: and a son-in-law Sterling Rogers.

PO is survived by his wife of 61 years Barbara “MO” Waldrop of the home: three daughters Brena Bush and husband Guy of Bentonville, Arkansas; Brandi Hiler and Brooke Rogers both of England, Arkansas: two sons Bruce Waldrop and wife Lydia of Noel, Missouri, and Raiden Sharp of England, Arkansas. His grandchildren Michael, Elizabeth, Brittany, Morgan, William (Raquel), Angela, Seth, Jacob, Jay, and Ava: ten great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Wilson-Robison funeral home chapel. 701 Pine Bluff Highway England, Arkansas, with Pastor Charles Martin officiating.
